Bank of the Ozarks Launches Branding Campaign

Little Rock, AR — Bank of the Ozarks introduced a new corporate advertising campaign created by The Ramey Agency, which features bank employees and showcases actual customer-employee banking scenarios.

The new campaign, “You have a friend here.” was created to communicate the bank’s financial strength, as well as the attention to customer service that is integral to the philosophy of Bank of the Ozarks. The campaign is a multifaceted effort that consists of television commercials, newspaper and magazine print ads, a redesigned website, web banner ads and radio spots.

Bank of the Ozarks conducts banking operations through 86 offices including 65 Arkansas banking offices; seven Texas banking offices; six Georgia banking offices; three banking offices in Mobile, AL; two South Carolina banking offices; two North Carolina banking offices; and a loan production office in Charlotte, North Carolina.

TCI At The American Culinary Federation

Ramey and client The Catfish Institute are in the midst of the world premier of an all-new premium, sustainable seafood product called DELACATA. At the American Culinary Federation’s annual convention, held this year in Anaheim, Calif., approximately 2,000 professional chefs will taste the new product over the course of the three-day conference that runs August 2-4, 2010. In addition to having a presence at the tradeshow, DELACATA served as the main attraction at a luncheon for nearly 700 Certified Executive Chefs.

Ramey Wins District Addy Gold

The Ramey Agency won three awards in the 2010 District Seven ADDY® Awards competition. Gold went to both the McAlister’s Tea Freaks website and the McAlister’s “Sweeten Up” campaign. Silver went to the Mississippi Arts Commission multimedia mailer promoting their Business Recovery Grant Program.

Mississippi Across the Pond

Mississippi Development Authority is on its way to the Farnborough International Airshow, an aerospace and aviation trade show in England this week. Ramey designed the trade show booth with their new branding imagery, and created an aerospace-focused brand video.

Chef Thomas Keller for Viking Commercial

Ramey’s new site for Viking Commercial launches today, featuring a wealth of content from Chef Thomas Keller and Bouchon in Beverly Hills. Ramey spent two days at the restaurant filming interviews, photographing slide shows, and capturing cooking demonstrations from Chef Keller and his team.

AAF Tenth District Convention – Amarillo, TX

imageThe Tenth District of the American Advertising Federation (Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas) celebrated its 100th birthday at its annual convention April 15-17 in Amarillo, TX. Brian Clark, who leads Ramey’s Little Rock office, is a member of the Tenth District’s Executive Committee and is Arkansas’ Legislative Chair to the AAF. Brian gave a report at the business meeting updating the district on national legislative issues. The most pressing issue concerns proposed sweeping new powers for the Federal Trade Commission that could lead to limitations on food product advertising and “aiding and abetting” language that could hold media and advertising companies liable for advertising content if the FTC determines later it was false or deceptive.
